The new branch of The Range Store, Stockport, which will be located on the
site of the former Toys R Us Store at the Peel Centre Retail Park, plans to open on Friday 26th July at 9am.
The retailer says 80 new full and part-time jobs will be on offer from store to department managers and warehouse assistants to retail administrators.
With 150 stores across the UK, The Range has agreed to take over the former 44,000 sq ft Toys R Us unit at Stockport Retail Park, Peel Centre in Stockport town centre.
Owners Peel Land and Property agreed a deal that will see The Range extend into a further 10,000 sq ft to the rear of the unit, adding store space and creating a garden centre.
The Range, which currently stocks more than 65,000 products across 16 different departments, from Homewares and Furniture to DIY and Art Supplies, joins an impressive lineup of existing high street names including Dunelm Mill, TK Maxx, Wilkos and Matalan.
