Stockport Council’s appointed main contractor on the Aurora Industrial Park, Seddon, are looking to give sub-contractors the opportunity to discuss potential work on the new development.
Located alongside junction 1 of the M60, Aurora Stockport will transform an 18 acre derelict site close to Stockport town centre into a modern 145,000 sq ft industrial park comprising 10 light industrial units ranging from 8,700 sq ft to 47,000 sq ft, bringing jobs and opportunities for residents and businesses.
Seddon were selected following a competitive tender process with the first units available for businesses in early 2017.
Sub-contractors from the Stockport area are being offered the chance to meet Seddon and to learn about the Aurora Stockport project, which comprises the transformation of an 18 acre site into a modern industrial park.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 14 June 2016 from 16:00 to 18:00 – reserve your place here
At the event, sub-contractors will meet key procurement professionals and have the opportunity to network and attend a presentation at 4:30pm, where you will find out more about the details of the project and how you can win work with Seddon.
The multi-million pound development is being led by Stockport Council and comes at a time when the demand for industrial units in Stockport continues to increase due to the town’s exceptional workforce and connectivity. Aurora Stockport is one of the Growth projects being undertaken as part of Stockport Council’s £900m Investing in Stockport programme.
