Stockport design agency, Future, is collaborating with the region’s creative community to help support its NHS fundraising project, Life Through Lockdown.
The Life Through Lockdown campaign aims to shine a light on daily life during the Coronavirus crisis. Future’s Creative Director, Grant Mitchell explains:
This is a unique moment in history so we wanted to find a way to capture and showcase creative interpretations of this unique period and at the same time raise some money for the NHS. ‘Life Through Lockdown’ visually records the thoughts, observations, stories and activities happening in homes across the UK, seen through the eyes of the team at Future and our friends in the creative industries.
“From DIY haircuts to home schooling, working on the kitchen table to weird dreams, ‘Life Through Lockdown’captures these experiences during this unique period in our lives, creating a lasting record of an unprecedented moment in time. We hope it will serve as a significant creative retrospective in years to come.”
In the coming weeks, the team at Future will be raising money for the NHS by selling limited edition prints of the artwork which can be seen on its website and on Instagram @lifethroughlockdown
Later in the year Future hope to hold an exhibition showcasing and celebrating all the submissions with a view to raising further money for the NHS.
Future is a design and digital agency which has studios in Warrington and Stockport.
