Specialist property lender, Together has announced the appointment of Mike Flynn as Non-Executive Director to its board.
Flynn joins Together this December as representative of the founder’s family, bringing over two decades of expertise in corporate governance, strategic development, and operational leadership. He has served as a shareholder observer to Together, learning and understanding the business whilst supporting its shareholder.
Founded 51 years ago by Henry Moser, Together now manages a loan book of £8 billion. Flynn has an extensive track record of leading businesses across the property, utilities, and civil engineering sectors. He currently serves as Group CEO of Bracken Property Company Limited, overseeing and managing the Moser family’s property interests, and is a Non-Executive Director on the Improveasy Group Board.
Earlier in his career, Flynn held senior leadership positions, including Director at Network Plus Services Limited, a leading utilities and infrastructure provider, as well as other executive roles within the civil engineering and utilities sectors.
Mike Flynn, Non-Executive Director of Together, said:
“I am delighted to join the board of Together at such an exciting time for the business. I look forward to working closely with my fellow directors to support the executive team in driving the group’s continued success.”
Founded in 1974, Together provides commercial and personal finance including residential, commercial and buy-to-let mortgages, bridging loans, auction finance and development funding, often supporting niche markets and customers underserved by mainstream lenders.
In its latest annual results, the group, based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester, announced underlying profit before tax of £216.1 million. The results, for the year to June 30th, showed growth of Together’s loan book to £7.9 billion. Last month’s results for the quarter ending September 30th, revealed this has now climbed to £8 billion.
Together Chairman, Mike McTighe, welcomed Mike Flynn to the board. He said:
“His extensive experience and strategic insight, combined with his deep understanding of the Moser family’s vision, will be invaluable as Together continues to grow and deliver on its ambition to be the UK’s finance partner of choice.”
