Stockport’s JCM moves lock, STOK and barrel

After 10 years on Birdhall Lane in Cheadle, JCM Business Solutions has upped sticks and moved into STOK, one of Stockport’s smartest addresses on Prince’s Street in the centre of the town.

The move for family-owned business software solutions provider JCM, set up by Chris Moran in 2010, coincides with the start of a new chapter for the business, as Chris’s daughters Elle and Sara officially take the reins, and Chris enjoys a well-earned retirement.

As Elle Moran explains:

“The motivation to re-locate has been with us for some time now. After 10 years on Birdhall Lane, there was a definite feeling among the team that we were ready for a change, and a new space would inject new energy into the business. 

“STOK had been on our radar pretty much since it opened, but with some personal things happening within the business (the trials and tribulations of running a family business!), we had to pause the whole idea of moving offices until we had steadied the ship as they say.

“But, the silver lining to everything we’ve gone through, is that now we’ve reshaped and restructured the business and it’s the ideal time to dive into a new office space. It really does feel like the business, which has been going for 15 years now, is entering a new era and we’re SO thrilled for it to be here. STOK was always the top of the list and the one to beat.”

Sister Sara is also delighted with their new ‘home’:

“When we first went to view STOK, we didn’t know what to expect. But when we walked in, it really feels like you’re transported into a different world. The attention to detail, the styling, and the thought put behind every aspect make it a truly inspiring place to work. Our team are literally so excited to come into the office now, they want to work more!”
