Stockport’s finance and professional services sectors are invited to come together for a breakfast networking event in Woodford on 27th April.
The South Manchester Financial & Professional Network, established by Stockport Economic Alliance and Stockport Council, will return to the Deanwater Hotel on Thursday 27th April from 8am to 10am.
The event will provide an opportunity to network and collaborate with other representatives from the sector. There will be topical presentations and information sharing that can help build your business.
Chris Booth, the network chair, will welcome and introduce the morning’s agenda before guest speakers take to the floor. Speakers for the April event include:
Rob Dixon, Lecturer in Strategic Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, owner of Dixonspace Enterprise Centre and co-founder of AIbuddy. Rob will be discussing the importance and impact of ChatGPT on the financial and legal sectors and opportunities for using AI to improve performance across all sectors. Rob’s will be an interactive session (please bring your laptop on the day) and should be extremely interesting and hopefully valuable for all attendees.
Sharon Mayo, Economy Work and Skills Manager at Stockport Council. Sharon Mayo will be sharing information about the exciting plans for the new Merseyway Innovation Centre, which will be opening in the town centre later this year.
