Stockport and Greater Manchester solicitors, Harold Stock have celebrated a number of new hires, an office move and continued recognition for the residential property team as the firm looks back on a year unlike any other.
Solicitor, Ashley Singer joined the firm just before the pandemic hit. Throughout 2020, Ashely has helped Harold Stock grow the work coming into the firm, in particular the Litigation Departments and has brought a wealth of experience in resolving court disputes, for both businesses and individuals and in personal injury claims.
The Residential Property Team was boosted by the arrival of Sarah Major as Head of Department. Sarah’s expertise in all aspects of residential conveyancing has been a welcome addition to the busy team which was awarded the Law Society’s CQS standard for the 10th year running. The standard requires the firm to undergo a rigorous assessment, compulsory training and annual reviews. The compulsory training means that staff are up to date on the latest developments within property law to ensure Harold Stock can provide the best possible service to clients.
Harold Stock has also made two new additions to its Family Law Team, which now boasts a combined experience of over 60 years. Chris Bowen joins with substantial family law experience and is a member of Resolution and a trained Collaborative Family Lawyer. Maureen Judge also joined the team as a Family Law Executive.
Beyond Stockport, the Greater Manchester solicitors also celebrated an office move for its Failsworth branch in 2020. Although moving down the road from Pole Lane to the Ivy Business Centre on Crown Street, the move forms part of Harold Stock’s plans to modernise its offices for the benefit of both clients and staff.
Looking ahead to 2021, the firm is investing heavily in its technology to all clients to receive a move flexible service, while also investing in its branches.
