Mental health charity, Stockport and District Mind, have announced the organisation is moving from its current home at Stockport Homes to a new office space at Disability Stockport from 3rd March.
The new location brings the charity closer to Stockport town centre and will allow people to access services across both Stockport Mind and Disability Stockport from the same location at 23 High Street, Stockport.
The move highlights the close working relationships Stockport Mind has built with other local charities within the town, that enable organisations to support each other in further strengthening the health and wellbeing offer for the local community.
There will be no changes to the services that Stockport Mind offer following the move. Its email will be the same and its Information & Signposting Helpline will remain open along with our services including the Carers Support Service, and Groups such as Thursday at One and Singing for Fun.
A spokesperson from the charity said:
“We look forward to settling into our new home and embracing new opportunities to ensure that our local mental health charity will continue to be an integral part of the community for many years to come.”
