Stockport: Low Carbon Business Network

The next Stockport: Low Carbon Business Network, takes place on Tuesday 27th November at Houldsworth Mill Conference facilities. The event will allow for extensive networking with other businesses.

Matt Chassagne, Head of Business Development at ENER-G Combined Power will be chairing the event for the first time and introducing two topical and informative speakers:

• ‘The North West Fund for Energy & Environmental: How Businesses Can Benefit’ – Michael Bakewell

The North West Fund Michael Bakewell, Investment Manager for The North West Fund for Energy & Environmental, will talk through how growth-oriented local businesses in the Energy & Environmental sector can benefit from flexible equity packages from £50k to £2m.

• ‘Low Carbon Opportunities in Stockport’ Darren Pegram, Stockport Council

Darren Pegram will outline Stockport Council’s low carbon goals, key local projects that are taking place and the opportunities that exist for low carbon suppliers in these areas. Darren will provide an overview of a range of key projects including actions around estates, district energy schemes, and sustainable communities.
