Employers in Stockport are invited to connect with jobseekers at a jobs fair taking place at Stockport Guildhall on 26th March.
Organised by Job Centre Plus in the borough, the monthly event gives those looking for work in Stockport the opportunity to meet with prospective employers.
Since the event moved to Stockport Guildhall, events have seen attendance rising at each subsequent event, with footfall exceeding 300 customers. The first two fairs of 2025 have both seen queues ahead of doors opening and a steady flow of attendees throughout the event.
February’s jobs fair has led to over 100 follow up interviews offered, with some candidates offered work within days of the event taking place.
