
Stockport based charity, Beechwood Cancer Care, has announced the date of its first golf day and the organisation’s first in-person fundraising event in over a year.
To be held on 10th September, the golf day will help Beechwood raise funds to continue its support for individuals affected by cancer and other life-limiting illnesses and their families.
The event will take place at Bramhall Golf Club, and is open to teams of four, with an entry contribution of £400 per team. The day includes:
- Bacon roll and coffee on arrival from 11am
- 18 holes of golf
- Refreshments at the Half Way Hut
- A rolling BBQ from 5pm
- Prize raffle and charity auction
Prizes will also be on offer for the 1st and 2nd teams and all par 3s, including ‘Beat the Pro’ on hole 14.
Beechwood Cancer Care is also looking for Corporate Sponsors for the Par 3 holes.

Beechwood Cancer Care offers support to those living with cancer or a life-limiting illness, as well as their relatives and carers, providing services such as one-to-one and group counselling at all stages of illness, and complementary therapies.
