Business technology products and services provider, Sharp, is launching three new A4 colour devices to add to its growing range of products designed for the evolving workplace.
The new models, BP-C542WD, BP-C533WD and BP-C533WR, bring Sharp’s latest connectivity features to a compact multi-function printer (MFP) suitable for smaller spaces. The new A4 devices complement Sharp’s A3 models to cater for a range of business needs while offering a standalone system for smaller workplaces.
Ben Lake, Senior Product Manager at Sharp Europe said:
“Our new A4 range is equipped with our most advanced features to date, providing connectivity, security, and sustainability all inside a smaller size suited to any office. We’ve remained consistent with our sleek design but combined it with leading new technology that is a perfect match for the changing hybrid future workplace.”
The new A4 models offer 1200dpi print resolution and 130ipm scanning, all controlled by a 7” Full Flat touch panel. Featuring a consistent user experience with the same controller platform as the latest A3 range, the new products improve and enhance usability, performance and productivity while ensuring that getting to grips with the new models remains straightforward.
The range offers several connectivity options such as mobile connections, Wireless LAN, and standard Bluetooth/NFC including an inbuilt Microsoft Teams connector. The models offer remote firmware updates to safeguard business security and optional Bitdefender anti-malware support that shields from network and data vulnerabilities; virus scans are also scheduled daily by default.
Furthermore the new A4 MFPs sustainability offer includes a 35% reduction in power consumption in ready mode and 70% reduction in sleep mode, totalling a 42% reduction in electricity consumption compared to the previous models.
