A serving police officer from Greater Manchester Police is currently planning a fund raiser in memory of the two police officers that recently lost their lives in Hattersley.
The aim is to raise as much money as possible in their memory for the ‘North West Police Benevolent Fund’, and organisers are seeking support from north west businesses.
The trek planned for next March will take place across the Sahara Desert and last for 8 days during which time he will also climb Jabel Lamrakeb.
This will be extremely challenging both mentally and physically as he will be enduring high temperatures, rough terrain and blister clinics!!! There will be no electricity, food will be limited and not forgetting… there will be no toilet facilities.
The police officer is using his own Annual Leave entitlement and has funded part of the trip himself. However, he still needs your support and generous donations to help with the challenge.
IF EVERY PERSON WHO OPENS THIS EMAIL DONATED JUST £1 HE WILL BE WELL ON THE WAY TO REACHING HIS TARGET OF £5,000.
