Royal Nawaab will host is first Royale Gala Charity Dinner on 27th November in a bid to raise over £50,000 for Stockport NHS Charity.
The charity is the official charity of Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, which supports Stepping Hill Hospital and local community NHS services. The charity exists to improve the health and wellbeing of patients across Stockport by delivering services above and beyond ordinary standards.
The evening promises to be a celebration of community with stunning food, served at tables within the restaurant’s luxurious banqueting suite. It will feature unforgettable entertainment, an exclusive raffle and auction with showstopping prizes.
The venue is also pledging 100% of ticket sales to the charity, one close to the heart of the restaurant’s founder. Mahboob Hussain, Founder of Royal Nawaab, who lives locally to Stepping Hill Hospital, is a big believer in supporting the hospital and the wider foundation. He said:
“With our 100% donation policy, every penny raised from our Royale Gala will go directly to the charity at the heart of our community.
“My family has had incredible care at Stepping Hill Hospital, including the births of all my Grandchildren. It is a vital part of our community, and we are delighted to host this evening to be able to celebrate and give something back.“
Kate Leadbeater Charity Manager of Stockport NHS Charity said:
“We are truly honoured that Royal Nawaab is hosting this event to raise awareness of our charity and the fundraising we do to enhance the patient experience and improve staff development at Stepping Hill Hospital. Stockport Pyramid is an iconic building at the heart of our community, and we have been excited to see it come back to life as the Royal Nawaab. We cannot wait to enjoy the evening!”
Previous work carried out by Stockport NHS Charity to enhance patient, staff and visitor experiences has included revitalising and creating outdoor green spaces at Stepping Hill Hospital. The charity has helped to secure funding from Greener Communities for a therapy garden for the Acute Frailty Unit. The charity has also created a functional outdoor area for the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit to aid in recovery and supported a full renovation of the hospital’s Treehouse Children’s Unit Garden, a much-loved facility.
Other projects that the charity has helped to fund include the creation of a parent and family rooms within Stepping Hill Hospital’s Neonatal Unit so parents can have a touch of home comforts, when staying with their babies in the hospital.
The Royal Nawaab Pyramid’s Royale Gala Charity Dinner starts at 630pm on Thursday 27th November and tables are on sale now priced at £1500 for a table of ten. Further information can be found on the restaurant’s website.
