Work to create a new Little Footprints nursery, providing day-care for children aged between six weeks and four years of age, is now underway following support from a funding deal with Royal Bank of Scotland.
It is estimated that up to 20 new jobs will be created by the opening of the nursery, providing childcare for up to 50 children.
Royal Bank of Scotland has worked with Shahed and Asma Deen, Owners of Little Footprints Nursery for five years and has provided the business with an undisclosed loan to support the opening of the new nursery.
Set to open in January 2017, Little Footprints Nursery will be located on Little Moss Lane in Swinton, above The Funhouse play centre. The building is currently undergoing a complete refurbishment and once completed will house four separate classrooms, a sensory room and sand and water area. It also benefits from secure on-site car parking.
Asma Deen, Owner of Little Footprints Nursery, said: “We are really excited about the opening of the new nursery. Work is now well underway and we are aiming to create a state of the art facility which not only caters to children’s needs but also provides a warm and caring environment.
“The support we have received from Royal Bank of Scotland has been excellent and we are thrilled to have the guidance of our Relationship Manager Michele Fynan whom we have worked with for over five years across a number of previous projects.”
Michele Fynan, Business Relationship Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland said: “The new nursery is already looking fantastic and I am pleased that we have been able to support Shahed and Asma with its development. Its opening will help to provide more choice to families in the area looking for first class childcare and will help to satisfy local demand.”
