Stockport headquartered wholesaler, Parfetts, has been named Best Retail Wholesaler at the FWD Awards for the third time.
The accolade comes in a year defined by record performance and rapid expansion, capped by turnover hitting £800 million and major progress across its fascia estate and national reach.
The award for the Stockport wholesaler follows a year that has also seen Parfetts open a new depot in Southampton and extending its delivery service across the South East and South Coast. Its symbol group now supports more than 1,650 retailers nationwide, with over 250 new Go Local stores joining each year and the company closing in on its target of 2,000 stores.
Noel Robinson (left), joint managing director of Parfetts, said,
“Parfetts supports retailers and their communities across the country. And because we are employee-owned, we can keep investing in better service and support. That commitment sits at the heart of the business, and it is good to see the team’s hard work recognised with a national award of this calibre.”
Parfetts’ continued momentum has been fuelled by its employee-owned structure, ongoing investment in infrastructure and the launch of new fascias such as Shop & Go and The Local.
Guy Swindell (right), joint managing director at Parfetts, said,
“The award crowns a year of hard work and transformational growth. We have expanded our service into new regions and maintained our focus on providing retailers with the support they need to trade with confidence. It is a credit to every colleague who puts customers first and drives the business forward.”
Employee-owned wholesaler Parfetts has recognised its team’s contribution with a combined 14% bonus in a record-breaking year. While new investment in its digital operations and own label range has helped to drive growth and support retailers.
