Stockport-based HR and Transformation services experts, Lomarton, are hosting a fundraising dinner to raise money for men’s mental health charity, Mentell.
The UK charity provides safe and confidential spaces for men to talk, free from advice and judgement.
Donna Morton, CEO at Lomarton, commented on the importance of the charity’s work and why the business was keen to support it:
“This will be our first charity dinner. It won’t be our last. I am determined that we do all we can to support our community and especially small but essential charities like Mentell.
“All too often men’s mental health is a subject that we simply don’t talk about or support. The consequences are horrific. Mentell works to provide support, and safe places for men to meet, to talk and to listen.
“As a mother of three young men and a colleague to many incredible men, I want to know that they could all rely on Mentell if they ever needed to. I’m hoping our charity dinner will be a huge success so that we can fund more for Mentell in the future.”
The Lomarton dinner is taking place on Thursday 27th March 2025 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Manchester Airport. The evening begins at 6.30pm with a drinks reception, followed by a luxurious three course dinner, live entertainment and an auction.
Donations for the auction already include signed shirts from both Manchester United and Manchester City, a holiday and VIP tickets to the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at the Hurlingham Club, London.
Tickets are available at £120 per person, with tables of 10 securing a special drinks package. To book, discuss sponsorship opportunities or donate, contact the Lomarton team.
