The full list of 55 consultants was published on a new website launched by EPS joint venture partners NWCH, Manchester City Council and the Centre for Construction Innovation at the University of Salford.
Hundreds of firms applied for a place on the EPS following a series of open days and invitation to tender in autumn 2010. The first successful bidders were not named until April 2012 .
The initiative began life at the North West Development Agency but was re-evaluated and delayed following the agency’s demise when the hub was handed over to the current partners.
The partners said the EPS will “enable public sector organisations, construction companies and built environment professionals to work in partnership to deliver projects more efficiently, on time and cost, with an enhanced focus on quality and added value outcomes to support local communities.”
