James Wheelan, financial specialist in the growing academy and not-for-profit sector, has joined the team at Stockport based Hallidays.
Hallidays are already a business partner to over 50 charity, academy and multi-academy clients, James is an exciting addition to the not-for-profit team.
He has gained a broad range of skills during his 16 year career working for a variety of accountancy practices based in Stockport and Manchester. Most recently, he gained over five years’ experience specialising in working with academies, primarily based in the North West and a wider range of not-for-profit organisations, including charities and housing associations.
James has extensive experience of supporting academies to generate additional income by exploring alternative sources of grant funding and has supported academies with governance requirements and the implementation of new financial processes and systems.
