Stockport-based design and website agency Future, has developed a bold new brand positioning and website for Stockport Mayoral Development Corporation (MDC), helping tell the story of one of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration programmes.
Working closely with Stockport MDC and Stockport Council, Future was commissioned to refresh the organisation’s position and create a website capable of showcasing the scale, confidence and momentum behind the transformation of the town.
The result is Unstoppable Stockport, a brand positioning designed to reflect the energy driving the huge investment across the borough and reinforce Stockport’s growing reputation as one of the North West’s most exciting places to live, work and invest.

Alongside the new positioning, Future designed and built a new website that brings together regeneration projects, investment opportunities and strategic ambitions into a clear, engaging and accessible experience for developers, partners, businesses and the wider public.
Nick Yates, Managing Director at Future, said:
“Stockport isn’t standing still, it’s one of the UK’s most exciting regeneration stories. Our job was to create a brand and digital experience that matched that sense of confidence and momentum. ‘Unstoppable Stockport’ captures the ambition behind the transformation while giving Stockport MDC a distinctive platform to engage investors, partners and the wider public.
“The challenge was to communicate a complex story in a way that feels inspiring and easy to navigate. Every touchpoint, from the visual identity to the website, was designed to reinforce the idea that Stockport is moving forward with purpose and pace.”
The project builds on Future’s long-standing relationship with organisations shaping the future of Stockport, adding to a portfolio that includes work across regeneration, placemaking and community initiatives throughout the town.
