Stuart Bradley, a former Stockport Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce President, co-founder of Culture Shift and award-winning Trust Brand Communications has become a Non-Executive Director of a new venture, Freehab, designed to ease the burden on the NHS.
Freehab provides free consultation, advice and rehabilitation for injuries, pain and conditions of the muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, nerves and spine known as musculoskeletal conditions, removing any financial barriers to physical rehabilitation. Founded by Ollie Coburn, himself an MSK Therapist and Graduate Sport Rehabilitator, the Freehab team is multidisciplinary; their professional clinicians all hold the required professional registration and professional liability insurance for their profession.
2021 has proved a challenging year for former marathon runner and fitness enthusiast Stuart:
“Having contracted Covid-19, I am now suffering the effects of long-Covid which has put an enormous pressure on how I go about my daily life. Fortunately, I have been able to experience first-hand the positive impact the Freehab team have had on my recovery.
“The service is also unique because there are no fees. Instead, you choose if and how much you pay. There are no expectations and no questions asked. We believe everybody should be able to access services like ours, regardless of their financial circumstances.”
Freehab treat adults and children with MSK injuries or conditions. Their service is designed for people who aren’t in the financial position to fund traditional private care but still require specialist input. Using video consultation and advanced rehab software, the team provide all the advice and support needed which can be accessed from anywhere in the UK and at a time to suit their patients.
