UK fashion retailer ‘Republic’ is the latest high street retailer to fall into administration.
The retailer’s head office announced the closures who have 120 stores throughout the UK, employing 1,000 staff, with the majority in the North of England. The closure will affect the 10 stores across Greater Manchester including at Stockport’s Merseyway.
Last month the shop was advertising and offering its stock for sale at just £5 per garment.
