Cornerstone Resources launch new 5 week leadership programme

Stockport HR consultancy, Cornerstone Resources, have launched a five-week leadership programme to support businesses to upskill their managers.

A recent CMI/YouGov poll found that 82% of managers class themselves as accidental managers: they have been promoted to managerial roles due to their functional excellence but have never been equipped with the skills required to manage others. Cornerstone Resources’ new ‘Lead with Confidence’ course lasts for 5 weeks and aims to address this training gap through a mix of in person and online delivery.

Whether stepping into leadership for the first time or as a refresher of management skills, this practical and engaging programme, starting 1st October, will help managers lead with confidence, clarity, and intention.

Training will explore key leadership capabilities, including trust-building, delegation, resilience, goal setting, feedback, emotional intelligence, and how to lead with purpose. Participants will leave with greater confidence, a stronger leadership identity, and tools that can be applied immediately.
