Founders, organisers and headline sponsors of the Stockport Business Awards, CN Chartered Accountants, have begun their search for the Charity Partner for the 2026 awards.
Applications are open for charities to apply for the opportunity to partner with the awards and benefit from fundraising activities and proceeds from the evening.
The chosen charity will also benefit from links and branding on the Stockport Business Awards website, PR coverage before and after the awards, promotion in the awards brochure, and the opportunity to form new relationships with local businesses in the area.
The Stockport Business Awards has been an iconic event within the business community of Stockport for over 12 years. Last year’s chosen charity, recently Moya Cole Hospice (previously St Ann’s) raised over £3,500 on the evening. Rachel McMillan (pictured, addressing guests at the 2025 awards), CEO Moya Cole Hospice commented:
“It was wonderful to be a part of the Stockport Business Awards 2025 and to have Moya Cole Hospice as this year’s charity partner. It was a terrific evening celebrating the wonderful Stockport business community. I want to express my sincere gratitude for all the support and to those who helped raise an incredible £3,533 for our hospice! Congratulations to all the winners!”
Founding Partner, Andrew Baggott of CN Chartered Accountants, said:
“We are delighted to have supported so many amazing charities over the years and to see the benefits of the event’s fundraising. It’s a fantastic chance for charity organisations to raise their profile in Stockport, benefit from such a generous community and of course enjoy the evening’s awards.”
