Stockport headquartered civil engineering and transport consultancy, Wilde Consulting Engineers, has announced a string of new appointments at the firm.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, Wilde has continued to grow its operations, taking on 13 new staff, including three from Atkinson Peck, another engineering consultancy in Stockport which entered administration in July. The civil engineering consultancy is continuing to grow, with five active vacancies in its highways and drainage teams.
Nathan Gill and Kevin Marshall (pictured), who join as associate directors, and Troy Whittle, who joins as a senior technician, had all worked at Atkinson Peck for many years.
Thomas Dowell and Shoaib Ahmed have joined Wilde as assistant engineers, and Luis North and Jacob Briers join as graduate engineers. Other appointments announced are duardo Ferreira as senior structural engineer; Jack Wall as CAD technician; Jade Crossland as senior technician; Roman Jivkov as associate director; Ikram Rabbani as business development director, and Joe Firth as graduate structural engineer.
As well as Stockport, the firm has offices in London and Warrington, employing over 100 staff in the North-west, and its growth will support new project wins across rail, building structures and infrastructure markets. The firm is also advising key infrastructure projects for Network Rail, including at London Euston and Birmingham New Street stations.
Managing Director at the civil engineering consultancy, Shaun Tickle, said:
We are working on exciting projects across the region and continue to grow. The company has been appointed to 30 public sector framework contracts and is working on several high-profile housing development schemes.
We are also assisting several local authorities in undertaking feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs for an ambitious programme of cycling and walking improvement schemes across Greater Manchester.”
