WORK STARTS ON SCHOOLS HILL CROSSING

Despite a one-day delay due to the weather, work has now started on installing the new puffin crossing on Schools Hill, Cheadle, Stockport..

The new puffin crossing will replace the existing zebra crossing which saw three accidents last winter. Along with the other safety measures (flashing speed signs, rumble strips, repainted lines, moved bus stop) we hope this will improve the safety of the road.
