Stockport’s Vernon Building Society are bringing a West End star performance to their charity concert in aid of the Together Trust.
Musical theatre performer, Tasha Sheridan, who has performed in West End musicals such as Mamma Mia, Evita and Carousel, will be performing a range of popular songs from well known musicals alongside the Vernon Building Society’s (Poynton) Brass Band.
The concert is taking place on Friday 27th September, 7:30pm at
Stockport Grammar School with tickets available for just £5 from any of
the Vernon’s local branches; all proceeds will be going to Together Trust.
The special concert with the theme “Brass and Broadway” will feature
songs from popular musicals including Les Miserables, West Side Story,
Oklahoma and Whistle Down the Wind. There will also be a
performance from the Together Trust’s Sign Language Choir which
made up of pupils from Bridge College.
The Society is celebrating 25 years of supporting the Vernon Building
Society (Poynton) Brass Band this year and the concert promises to be a
memorable event.

“We’re really looking forward to seeing Tasha perform with the band. In the 25 years that we’ve been sponsoring the band, they have consistently come up with creative new performances and this promises to the best yet.”
Refreshments will be available and all proceeds from the concert will
go to the Together Trust. Tickets are available for just £5 from any local
branch of the Vernon. If any tickets remain these will be available on the
door on the night.
