Our charity is dedicated to providing a creative, happy and secure environment for children and adults with complex and severe learning disabilities which include little or no language abilities. Across our school, college and residential care homes, and through the work we do beyond our own facilities, we deliver programmes of care that are individually tailored, promote independence and help build confidence and self-esteem in the children and adults we work with.
The Seashell Trust cares for children and young people with profound disabilities including blind, deaf, deaf / blind, autism, physical impairments, learning difficulties and mental health issues. Often students come to live at the Seashell Trust with no system in place to communicate, our 24 hour on-on-one support and individual programmes help our students develop the key skills they need to fulfil their potential in life.
