Ten travel agents, from across the North West, accompanied by Manchester Airport staff, were taken on a luxury familiarisation trip to Jordan by Turkish Airlines recently, where they spent a week learning about the country, tourism and enhancing their product knowledge.
The trip included Aqaba, Petra, the Dead Sea and Amman. Agent representatives came from Flight Centre, Wild Frontiers, Destination Store, KE Adventure, Discovery Collection and Kuoni.
Backed by the Jordan Tourist Board, the action-packed itinerary, which highlights the wealth of tourism opportunities in the country, included water sports in Aqaba, jeep desert tours with camel riding, Amman city tours plus swimming in the Dead Sea.
