Stockport Business & Innovation Centre (SBIC) has welcomed three new customers to its Broadstone Mill base in Reddish.
Bespoke construction management company Nicholas Ryan Projects, 3D visualisation firm Creativefront and design consultant Daedalus Design are the latest arrivals at the Stockport Council-owned SBIC.

The centre, part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund, provides flexible office space specifically aimed at start-up businesses attempting to make their first move into professional offices.
It also offers mentoring and business incubation services to help start-ups develop a robust business plan and support them as they grow. It is under the management of Oxford Innovation, specialists in running innovation centres around the UK.
Nicholas Ryan Projects specialises in small developments of quality homes in Cheshire and the surrounding areas. With 35 years of experience, the firm has a large multi-skilled workforce.
Creativefront is a 3D visualisation company, which specialises in providing high quality 3D images to the events and marketing industries to streamline planning and communication. Creativefront visualisations have been used to successfully design, pitch for and win events with the Trafford Centre, Jones Lang LaSalle, Barrett Homes, E-ON.
Daedalus Design provides design and development services to retail design agencies and shop-fitters. The company has worked on brands including the likes of John Lewis, Nike, Rolex, Marks & Spencer, Adidas and Tesco.
The trio of businesses will benefit from free membership to SBIC’s Engine House, an informal business lounge facility with Wi-Fi and refreshments available to members on a drop-in basis. They will also have access to the business support provision which is available to all SBIC tenants.

The latest arrivals come at an exciting time for SBIC. It has launched its second search for the region’s most promising business start-up. The Spark Stockport Business Idea Competition is back open for entries with a new website www.spark-stockport.co.uk and aims to build on the success of last year, when innovative bereavement gifts firm, Inspired Goodbyes, took the honours.
The competition is looking for a business idea with real potential and the winner receives a comprehensive package worth £15,000 to get the idea up and running.
