Together makes £180,000 donation to support Greater Manchester green spaces

Cheadle-based specialist lender Together has made a £180,000 donation to support the work of the We Love MCR charity, which will use funds to improve outdoor spaces in Greater Manchester.

£150,000 of the donation from Together will go towards improvements to Wythenshawe Park over the coming years and deliver safe outdoor space that children of all abilities can enjoy.

The remaining £30,000 will bolster We Love MCR’s Stronger Communities Fund and help further protect and improve outdoor spaces across the city. The Fund has previously supported community allotments, a children’s gardening club and a green residential alleyway project.

The donation also marks the start of a stronger partnership between Together and the charity.
