Together hires corporate sales director

Helen Calderley, who has worked in banking and property finance for more than two decades, has been appointed as corporate sales director for Together for the North East region.

In her new role at Together, which has its headquarters in Cheadle and has a loan book of £8.1 billion, she will be responsible for growing the lender’s brand and promoting its specialist products to clients and professional introducers in the regions.

Helen joins Together from Cambridge & Counties Bank as a business development manager in real estate, covering the North East, providing finance for clients including corporate customers, BTL holiday let investors – and even for a parachute club to buy an airfield.

Previously, Helen was senior relationship manager for property finance group Assetz Capital, where she focused on development finance and at Yorkshire Bank as a business development manager in the North East. She has also worked in banking as a business relationship manager, among other roles, at Barclays and RBS, where she focused on real estate finance.

Helen said of joining Together:

Together’s corporate team provides finance, such as bridging loans, semi-commercial and commercial mortgages, typically of between £1 million and £20 million, for purposes such as property or land acquisition, refinancing debt or releasing equity for businesses to grow.

Helen will report to Mark Eastwood, Together’s director of corporate sales. Mark said:
