Cheadle-based specialist lender, Together, has announced a number of Board and Committee changes that reflect the business’ ongoing focus on Board effectiveness, succession planning, and strong governance.
Andy Higginson, Non-Executive Director, will be appointed to the newly created role of Deputy Chair with effect from 1 October 2026. Drawing on his extensive board and leadership expertise in customer-focused organisations, he will support the Chair, Mike McTighe, and the Board in the delivery of its strategic and governance responsibilities.
Richard Fearon, Non-Executive Director, has been appointed Chair of the Group Risk Committee with immediate effect, bringing significant experience in risk management and financial services governance. Wayne Bowser will remain a member of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee, ensuring continuity of oversight.
Within Together Personal Finance, John Hooper, currently a Non-Executive Director, will succeed Richard Gregory as Chair with effect from 1 October 2026, subject to regulatory approval, as part of a planned succession following Richard’s eight-year term. Richard will step down from the Board on the same date. The Board thanks Richard for his service and welcomes John to the role.
Changes to Together’s leadership team come as the group posts its annual results for the 12 months ended 30th June 2026, which has seen the lender increase its loan book 8% year-on-year to £8.5 billion.
