Following the awesome success of Stockport’s Giant Leap Frog Art Trail in 2019 and Stockport’s Gigantic Leap Frog Art Trail in 2021, the Stockport Frogs are back for 2023!
During the summer, a brand-new trail of Frogtastic Invention frogs will be hopping onto their giant cogs across the town centre, creating an educational, exciting and vibrant, outdoor art trail for everyone to enjoy.
Stockport’s previous frog art trails have attracted thousands of people from across the region, and beyond! This July to September, residents and visitors of all ages and backgrounds, from businesses, schools and community groups will be descending on the town to discover the ingenious frogs and their amazing inventions.
This year, we need you to help us! Artists, local businesses and town centre retailers can help shape the great ‘Frogtastic Inventions’ Trail!

Calling all local artists – transform your design – paint a giant frog!
Help us to create our first ever ‘Frogtastic Inventions’ Trail?
This is a chance for artists to be part of a public art event that will get you and your work noticed. You could become part of a lasting legacy. Let us know you’d like to take part – just send us an email with examples of your work / style frogs23 by 12th February. Calling all town centre retailers – design a giant frog!
We are inviting town centre retailers to design one of the frogs on the trail. Create your own masterpiece based on the theme of inventions; submit your entry to the team at Totally Stockport and the lucky winner will have their froglet design recreated on one of the giant frogs on the trail.
