This is a permanent position and would especially suit a person who is looking to carve a career in recruitment working with fellow professional people.
Managing Director Sharon Seville explained that, while this role will start off in a resourcer’s capacity, the successful candidate could have the opportunity progress to Recruitment Consultant within six to twelve months:
“Depending on their own success and capabilities, this role is key in any recruitment agency. If you are trying to find an entry-level role within the recruitment industry then this is an excellent starting point.
“Ideally we are looking to appoint someone who is highly organised and adaptable as they may need to think on their feet while spinning several plates at once!”
Sharon added that the job is incredibly fast paced and the focus for the day can change in an instant:
“With this in mind it is essential that our new recruit is incredibly self disciplined, able to work to speed on several different activities at any one time and all the while remaining calm and focused when under time pressure.
“If you like consistency and structure to your working day, this role is definitely not for you!”
Starting a recruitment career at a resourcer level will give an excellent foundation to become an exceptional consultant. However, if passion and strengths lie in resourcing, then there is an opportunity to stay within that function and build on those skills, rather than move into a consultancy role.
