International airline, Emirates, will host a pilot recruitment roadshow in Manchester as it boosts its recruitment efforts in response to growing customer demand.
Emirates is the world’s largest international airline and has flown to and from the UK since 1987. It currently flies three-times daily between Manchester Airport and Dubai, with 133 weekly flights to the UK. Planned expansion for the airline sees it have 47 Airbus A350 and 270 Boeing 777X aircraft on order.
The upcoming roadshow will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Piccadilly on 23rd and 24th September, inviting experienced pilots keen to join Emirates as First Officers, Direct Entry Captains, or via the Accelerated Command Programme, to attend.
Jabr Al-Azeeby, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President, UK, said:
“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleet across the globe. They will have the opportunity to undergo robust in-house training at Emirates’ cutting-edge training facility and will also be based in the vibrant city of Dubai. We look forward to having more pilots from Manchester and the UK onboard our airline, as we ramp up our operations globally.”
Emirates provides new joiners with a robust, evidence- and competency-based in-house training to ease them into their roles. Successful candidates will complete training programmes at Emirates’ $135 million advanced pilot training facilities in Dubai.
