Stockport Homes Group appoints new Chair

Stockport Homes Group has announced the appointment of Matt Harrison (pictured, right) as Chair of the Board, following the housing provider’s Annual General Meeting on 28th September.

The appointment comes as outgoing Chair Steve Partridge steps down from the role after nine years.

As Chair, Matt Harrison will work alongside the Board, Stockport Homes colleagues, Stockport Council and other partners to support the organisation’s strategic direction and ensure the housing provider continues to make a positive difference in the community.

Commenting on taking on the position, Matt Harrison, Chair of Stockport Homes Group Board, said:

“I’m delighted to be joining SHG at such an important time for housing and local communities. The organisation has strong foundations, talented people, and a shared commitment with Stockport Council to making a real difference for residents. I look forward to supporting the organisation’s ambitions and working together to continue delivering positive outcomes for customers across the Borough.”
