A series of workshops on the basics of graphic design and digital marketing aimed at freelancers and small businesses are taking place in Stockport.
Run by MadLab as part of its Make Stuff project which also included a number of activities as part of the borough’s Town of Culture DigiFest programme, the workshops will take place at Profolk in Stockport town centre with dates in April and May 2024.
Graphic design workshops will introduce the online platform, Canva, to help participants learn to create social media graphics, presentations, and marketing materials.
The Intro to Digital Marketing workshop will cover the basics of getting a brand noticed online, including understanding your audience, the power of search engine optimisation, and how to interpret analytics and measure your marketing success. The Next Steps workshop builds on an established marketing foundation, diving deeper into strategic implementation and will see participants develop a comprehensive digital marketing plan that aligns with business goals and targets the right audience.
