The newly-launched Stockport Digital Network will hold its first networking event on Friday 9th December to bring together the borough’s thriving digital businesses.
The organisation, set up by Stockport Council’s Economy, Work and Skills team, aims to connect digital businesses in Stockport to share experiences and opportunities for further growth.
The first informal event will take place at the Stockport Business & Innovation Centre in Broadstone Mill, Reddish from 11am, with the theme of ‘Digital in Stockport.’
This first event will be an opportunity for digital businesses in the borough to come together to share experiences and hear from speakers about what it is like to be a digital business in Stockport. There will also be networking opportunities to collaborate with businesses from across the sector.
Talks scheduled for the event will include speakers discussing:
- Upskilling Your Digital Workforce
- GM One Network
- Cyber Resilience Centre
Registration starts from 11.00am, with speakers from 11.30am, followed by networking over a light buffet lunch. The event will finish by 1.30pm.
