Stockport creative, Aqua Design Group, has delivered a logo redesign for Lincolnshire-based food business, In A Sticky Pickle.
The firm’s branding focused on Pip the Pickle, gherkin mascot and face of the brand. However, the original design was a hand-drawn outline, scanned onto a computer and edited from there, leaving her looking clumsy and inconsistent across different media.
In A Sticky Pickle wanted to convey a more “put together” and professional image for their business and contacted Aqua Design Group to help them with the process, after first seeing their previous work on social media. During initial discussions, the firm shared examples of styles the liked, and explained the importance of Pip the Pickle’s role in conveying the brand personality.
David, co-owner of In A Sticky Pickle, said:
After discussing what we wanted to gain from our new logo and sharing some examples of logo styles we liked, Dylan understood what our goal was, and the importance of keeping Pip the pickle, as we love how fun she looks.”
In addition to the logo redesign, Aqua Design Group have also gone on to design and print a new PVC Banner for In A Sticky Pickle. Designs incorporate the new branding style in readiness for them attending farmers and artisan markets once Covid-19 restrictions allow, and will be helping with other marketing to promote their brand.
Dylan Moore, owner of Aqua Design Group, commented:
I always get a thrill out of supporting small businesses and it’s great to get a positive reaction from both In A Sticky Pickle and from those that have seen the re-branding for the first time.”
