Stockport County Women have announced an expanded partnership with Ground Up Solutions, with the business becoming the Official Back of Shirt Partner for the 2026/27 season.
The agreement builds on Ground Up Solutions’ existing support for football in the local community which began with the sponsorship and stadium naming rights agreement with Cheadle Town.
Following Stockport County’s acquisition of Cheadle Town and Stockport County Women’s move to Park Road (pictured), the partnership will now enter an exciting new chapter. Ground Up Solutions will continue as naming rights partner of the Ground Up Solutions Stadium, while its branding will also feature on the back of the Stockport County Women first-team shirts.
Managing Director of Stockport County Women, Tracey Neville, said:
“We’re delighted that Ground Up Solutions are extending their support to become an Official Partner of Stockport County Women.
“Aston and his team have already demonstrated a genuine commitment to local football through their relationship with Cheadle Town and the Ground Up Solutions Stadium. It means a great deal that they have chosen to continue that journey with us as we begin this exciting new chapter at Park Road.
“We have ambitious plans for Stockport County Women, both on and off the pitch. Developing the right facilities, pathways and opportunities will be central to our progress, so having partners who share our belief in the future of the women’s game is incredibly important.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with Aston and the Ground Up Solutions team throughout the season and building a partnership that can have a lasting impact.”
Ground Up Solutions’ expanded agreement with Stockport County Women represents a significant commitment to continue to develop women’s football in Stockport, as well as Stockport County’s ambition to create more opportunities in sport for women and girls in the borough.
As a special recognition of the partnership, Stockport County Women have retained the number 20 shirt for the 2026/27 season and presented it to Ground Up Solutions. The club will work with the company to explore how the shirt could be used in future seasons to celebrate a homegrown player or recognise an individual making an important contribution to the women’s game.
