Stockport County Football Club has launched a new dedicated careers website, developed in partnership with Venn.
The new platform has been designed to showcase the Club’s culture, values and people, whilst making it easier for candidates to discover opportunities across every area of the organisation.
The site provides a central hub for current vacancies and serves prospective employees with behind-the-scenes insights into life at one of English football’s fastest-growing clubs. Other features include dedicated sections introducing the Club’s departments, employee benefits and working environment, alongside career stories from existing members of staff and a streamlined recruitment experience for applicants.
The launch reflects Stockport County’s continued investment in attracting and retaining talented people as the Club grows both on and off the pitch.
Ellie O’Connor, Head of People at Stockport County, said:
“We’re delighted to launch our new careers website in partnership with Venn.
“As the Club continues to grow, it’s important that we’re able to showcase not only the opportunities available here, but also the people, culture and values that make Stockport County a special place to work.
“This platform gives prospective candidates a much better understanding of who we are as an organisation, the different departments that make the Club operate every day, and the wide range of career opportunities available across the business. We’re excited to welcome more talented people into the Club as we continue building for the future.”
Brian Whigham, Founder & CEO of Venn, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to have partnered with Stockport County on the launch of their new careers platform.
“Modern candidates want to understand far more than just the role they’re applying for. They want insight into an organisation’s culture, people, values and opportunities for development. This website has been designed to bring all of those elements together in one place, giving prospective employees a genuine feel for what it’s like to work at Stockport County.
“The Club has ambitious plans both on and off the pitch, and we’re excited to have helped create a platform that will support its growth by attracting talented people from across football and beyond. We look forward to seeing the careers website become an important part of Stockport County’s future success.”
Alongside current vacancies, the platform provides insight into the Club’s values, benefits and long-term vision, helping applicants make informed decisions before applying. The launch forms part of Stockport County’s wider commitment to strengthening its employer brand and supporting future growth across all areas of the organisation.
