Stockport County Football Club has announced the appointment of Gavin Bailey as the club’s new Chief Operating Officer.
Gavin Bailey (pictured) brings a wealth of experience operating large property and hospitality businesses to the club. His most recent position saw him manage the growth and expansion of CitySuites into Manchester’s largest hotel.
Gavin’s experience managing large teams across bookings, customer service, food and beverage, and events will be valuable for Stockport County’s next chapter of growth.
Bailey will take over from outgoing Chief Operating Officer, Tom Mahon, who has been in the role since 2023, and is leaving Stockport County to explore new opportunities.
In announcing his success, the club thanks Mahon for it the passion and dedication he has brought to the role during a key growth period which has seen the Club promoted back to League One.
