Stockport Cerebral Palsy Society (Stockport CP), Stockport Beer & Cider Festival’s current Charity partner, raised £6,000 at this year’s charity bar!
The Stockport Cerebral Palsy Charity bar, sponsored by Casino 36 (Stockport), sold out of its six locally brewed cask ales by the end of the festival, all of which were donated by local breweries (Hydes Brewery, Outstanding Brewing Co Ltd, Timothy Taylor’s, Torrside Brewing and Weetwood Ales).
Stockport resident Dean Lahan, aka The Fingerless Magician, was very popular and provided the entertainment on Friday and Saturday.
All 3 evenings were topped off by an exciting Charity raffle and 50/50 prizes.
The popular Stockport Beer & Cider Festival, organised by CAMpaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), took place at Stockport County FC from 30 May-1 June. Overall, at the festival, there were over 200 Beers, Ciders and Perries to be had.
Stockport Cerebral Palsy:
“A special thank you to all of the volunteers who gave up their time and those who visited our bar to help raise funds for the Charity. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
