After recent cyber-attacks on high profile businesses, such as Co-op and Marks and Spencer, Stockport businesses are invited to an exclusive workshop to help them better understand their cybersecurity risk.
The workshop will be delivered by DiSH and Lancaster University, alongside the GM Business Growth Hub, and take place at Venue @ Cornerstone in Stockport town centre on 25 November, from 9.30am.
This half-day bespoke cybersecurity training event has been designed to enhance participants’ understanding of cyber threats and risk management. It combines short presentations with hands-on activities and guided discussions. Attendees will explore key concepts in cyber threat awareness, risk assessment, and security decision-making in a collaborative environment.
The session includes two core components: an introduction to Cyber Fundamentals, and an interactive Cyber Threat & Risk Lego Game developed by Lancaster University.
This workshop is suitable for individuals and teams from Stockport businesses looking to build foundational cybersecurity knowledge, strengthen internal practices, and cascade learning across their wider organisation.
The workshop is free to attend, but spaces are limited and can be booked via Eventbrite.
