Stockport Council’s Health Protection Team will be attending workplaces to administer flu vaccinations during October and November to help businesses protect their workforce from the virus.
Having a flu vaccination this winter can reduce illness, minimise time off , and help keep workplaces safe and productive.
Stockport Council’s Health Protection Team is offering to conduct flu vaccinations at workplaces across the borough, making the process quick and convenient for staff. These vaccination sessions will be carried out by the council’s team of nurses, who will bring all the equipment necessary. Businesses will only be charged for the cost of the vaccine itself, with no additional costs.
Vaccination sessions will be arranged on mutually convenient dates and times during October and November 2026. All that businesses need to supply is a room with four chairs and a table.
Stockport businesses are being encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to protect their staff this flu season. More vaccines given helps reduce the potential need for time off work, or even a hospital stay, as well as protection for family and friends.
Organsations that would like to participate and host workplace flu vaccinations should get in touch with Stockport Council’s Health Protection Team via email.
