Starkey UK team inspires hearing professionals at Dubrovnik Business Seminar

Starkey UK, Hazel Grove-based hearing technology specialists, has hosted its Dubrovnik Business Seminar to inspire UK hearing professionals to move into a world beyond the pandemic.

The Starkey UK team travelled to beautiful Dubrovnik, Croatia with 100 hearing professionals from the UK and Ireland for an inspiring two days of keynote speakers, business topics and networking. 

The last couple of years have brought unprecedented challenges and uncertainties for independents businesses and Hearing Professionals. Looking ahead to a world beyond the pandemic, the Dubrovnik Business Seminar encouraged delegates to look forward with positivity and take inspiration from three fearless leaders. With their “out-of-the-box” thinking and unwavering dedication to pushing the limits of what’s possible, these world-leading guest speakers empowered and shared their stories of how anything is possible.

Major Tim Peake took delegates on an awe-inspiring ride. As the first British astronaut to visit the International Space Station, he shared his unique insights on leadership, motivation, collaboration, fear and risk management. Leveraging his incredible career as a test pilot and astronaut, Tim shared unique expertise and strategies in overcoming adversity and challenges.

Brad Burton, the UK’s number one motivational speaker, brought even more sparkle to the line-up. Brad brought high-powered energy, infectious enthusiasm and energetic engagement. With over 14 years of valuable experience, Brad translated his insight into the hearing aid industry and illustrated how Hearing Professionals could replicate his success. 

Alan Chambers MBE cemented the line up with his unforgettable and unique story of a major North Pole expedition. Alan talked about how to maintain focus and direction in adversity. He shared his experience in how to create winning beliefs and behaviours in business to make any hearing practice an unstoppable force.
