Families are invited to hop into Stockport this half term as Springo Bingo makes a lively return to Merseyway Shopping Centre.
Back after a year-long hiatus following its successful debut in 2024, the popular event is making a welcome comeback, bringing with it a refreshed programme of live entertainment, interactive bingo and lots of egg-citing prizes.
Taking place on Saturday 4th April from 11am outside Primark, the event will feature a new game every hour from 11am until 2pm, giving visitors multiple opportunities to take part across the day.
Springo Bingo offers a lively and engaging twist on the traditional game, combining bingo with live performers, themed Easter entertainment and audience interaction. Visitors can expect a vibrant atmosphere with playful characters including dancing chicks, humorous callouts and a large scale balloon drop, creating a unique experience for participants of all ages. There will also be 200 knitted chicks up for grabs as prizes throughout the day.
The event forms part of Merseyway’s Easter programme, which also includes a free Easter-themed craft session taking place earlier in the week on Thursday 2nd April from 11am, offering hands-on fun for children while stocks last.
Victoria Nichol, Merseyway Centre Manager said:
“We’re delighted to bring Springo Bingo back to Merseyway after such a positive response in 2024. It’s a fantastic way to bring people together while offering a fun alternative to the traditional easter egg hunts and Easter Bunny visits. We’re looking forward to welcoming families for a day of entertainment, prizes and lots of Easter fun in the heart of Stockport.”.
Springo Bingo is expected to be a highlight in the Easter calendar, offering a free family day out in the town centre.
