Businesses looking for workplace technologies will now be able to explore products via a new immersive virtual environment launched today (14th September) by Sharp UK.
The virtual showroom brings new virtual and augmented reality technology to the buying journey for the first time for businesses and organisations exploring workplace technology. The new environment provides a way for prospective and current clients to explore Sharp’s offerings in Business Applications, Hosted Telephony, Cyber Security, Document and Workflow Solutions, Managed Print, Audio Visual (AV) and Furniture Solutions.
Businesses can take a self-guided approach to exploring the virtual showroom or be assisted by Sharp UK’s consultative technology experts and account management team to take control of their research and buying in an immersive experience.
The interactive online tools enable decision makers to view and review products, services and solutions in a number of captivating 360-degree environments. Featuring 3D product renders, information and videos for each solution, the Virtual Showroom also has Augmented Reality (AR) for enhanced product evaluation.
It also provides information and insights on Sharp’s IT Services. For the education sector, products for the classroom and ‘early years’ needs, such as Interactive Touchscreen Tables, are also featured.
Stuart Sykes, Managing Director at Sharp UK says:
“We are used to exploring virtual reality environments in a whole host of consumer scenarios, from gaming to fashion, retail and travel, and we wanted to bring this level of innovation and engagement to our industry and our clients.
“The aim of the experience is to provide buyers with a way to help them explore what they can achieve with technology in their workplace and organisation. Saving time and travel evaluating our portfolio more easily, to quickly reach that all-important conclusion as to which product, solutions and or service, is right for their organisation. Our Virtual Showroom will help them to make more informed decisions with features like AR, which lets them use their mobile phones to view scaled product renders, visualising solutions in their own workplace.
“This is a hugely valuable tool to help boost confidence in Sharp as a Technology Partner and in our products and services. We simply can’t stand still. Innovation is key to continue meeting the changing needs of buyers, and to stand out to our clients as a supplier that goes above and beyond to help them make the best decisions for their organisation.”
