Business technology provider, Sharp Europe, has announced the appointment of Roland Singer as its new Vice President of IT Services.
The announcement comes as Sharp continues to establish and expand its IT services business across Europe since its inception in 2021.
Roland takes on the new role following his successful leadership of Sharp’s Swiss IT Services business, ITpoint Systems AG, where he was head and founder of the company which was acquired by Sharp in 2021. Over the last few years, Roland has led ITpoint to successfully support Sharp’s Swiss clients with a sophisticated suite of integrated solutions and managed services for the workplace. Roland joins Sharp with more than 35 years of experience in the IT services industry and has been key to developing new models that deliver significant benefits to clients.
Roland will be responsible for the strategic expansion of Sharp’s IT Services division in Europe focusing on delivering the same high level of service and reliability across all markets, establishing itself as a leading European IT services provider. A key part of Roland’s role will be to ensure that Sharp’s IT products and services are meeting the changing needs of Sharp’s clients, and that Sharp selects the best IT technologies and solutions to deliver maximum value to its clients. He said of taking up the position:
